Could someone please change the background on this pic of my 4-month old. Somthing white or pink or whatever.
Thanks in advance
Toby

You need to allow Image Editing.

here's a thought. change the background and then take a new pic. or, post a question asking how you would go about changing the background. If you want to be able to change the background easily, use a bright green background and photoshop can replace that with a few clicks.

I understand that a solid color would have been easier to fix. I am trying to learn how to change the background but I just started to use photoshop and even the simple instructions are too much right now. My wife wanted to print these photos out and give to family soon and cant wait for me to figure out photoshop. If someone could tell me any easy step by step then I can try to change it myself. If not then thanks anyways.

did you take these photos? I'd seriously re-shoot. even if someone does edit the photo for you, you'll be printing a web quality 800 pixel photo which won't look very good.

I agree that this is not a very good image to try to change a background color on and it not ending up looking fake. How about turning this image into a painting?

Thanks for trying, maybe I thought that photoshop could do something that it can not. I was thinking of taking the background away and changing it to something else. I know that it is 800 pixels but that is what I thought that I had to post it as. I am trying to figure out the program and am lost. I shot it with a digital rebel and will try to reshoot it. The only problem is getting a teething 4 month old back into a really uncomfortable hot dress:evil:.

with a larger image the edges would be better, and I did this fairly quickly.

pm me if you want to email a larger version so that i can extract it properly for you, it would be a shame not to make the most of this very cute picture.

That is perfect, exactly what I was thinking of. Now I need to learn how to do that.

Carl, what technique do you use for extraction? I can never get the hair extracted that well.
