Had a good day out in the sun today. Managed to get some Dragonflies in flight, not very easy.

The trick is to watch them for some time and look for the pattern that they fly
in.

Superb series of shots Brian..there are a lot of southern hawkers where i go to take pictures but havent come close to getting one in flight, so very well done.

Brian, I have had that lense for a couple of years now and its brilliant for DFs in flight, unfortunately I havent had a chance to try and get some with it this year due to the weather.
