All these new products from Canon and Nikon have got photography forums buzzing.
I'm a bit overwhelmed by the response.
Are we all turning into collectors? I was thinking of getting a new body but I am turned off by all the fuss, and will step back and take a deep breath. I've got some nice gear and refuse to get caught up in this "gotta have the latest gear fever" that's going around.

End of rant

I think we'll look back in a week or two and say "very interesting gear" then keep on with what we have. I know I certainly don't want to blow 1D Mk3 prices, 40D prices or D3 prices at the moment.

I can see an incentive to go Nikon as Fji's S3 Pro UVIR will do photos in the UV and IR regions which is a very useful thing.
