And another vote for the butterfly. I like the blue eyed dragonfly too. Against the blue sky BG it looks like it's wearing glasses. :)
I take it you used a tripod? I would imagine hand holding a 100-400 with TC and tubes would be tricky.

Thanks very much Mike... No tripod... Hand held... The IS makes it reasonably easy as long as I stand steady. Mode 2 which for some reason has a bad reputation with the 100--400 IS system. It is my defaut setting, and I have never had an issue using it with static or in flight bird shots... Another inaccurate myth as far as I can tell..... Thanks again Mike...
