I just got my 50mm F/1.4. Haven't had a chance to really explore it but caught this candid of my daughter. Opinions on the 2 versions I created below? Too much?

Edit: yes, I know I should brush my daughter's hair!! And next time I'll find a shirt without a bubble liquid stain LOL!

Hmm, out of all of these shots, I like the first one the best. The vignette is alright... but I would like to see what it looks like without it. The B&W makes the grass look like a serious vignette problem or something. Try cropping it out. Last one looks too PPed for my taste. Others might disagree.

they all look a little soft, but with some other enhancements to contrast, wb (little bit of a blue tinge it looks like to me), hue/sat, it will be fine.

I am Henry. NOT Hank. And certainly not a length of rope tied in a knot. ;)
My family calls me Hen, but you can call me Chicken. See you out there!

doH! Ok, ok... for the record she does have a brand new tricycle, but she's attached to that one. It does have character, no? I'll have to sneak it in the garbage over winter.
