I don't know yet ...

y'know, I acquired my music in the ancient ages, when you actually had to go to a shop to physically pick up a shiny silver disk (or - even weirder - black  )

I keep converting the music I want to listen to on the road to MP3 ... and keep deleting it again when the hard disk storage on my laptop gets scarce because I've downloaded too many RAW files from my G2.

Best regards,
Andy

Between my wife and I... 2,889 MP3s.

Plus 381 CDs in a Sony jukebox, connected by a Slink-E to the computer so that I can pick songs, set playlists, change volume and radio stations, etc. The jukebox is connected to a Sony surround system with a set of Klipsch speakers. I don't listen to music on the computer, but I can control the whole stereo with the Slink-E.

I've got over 100 CDs in the car - all dupes or mixes though.

What kind of music? Hah. No rap, jazz, or country, but we've got just about everything else.

You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

Anyone using AAC format with iTunes?

That service is addictive ... click and own, click and own ...

And the new AirTunes thingy looks very cool, for those with a wireless home network. Just plug it into your stereo and your computer becomes the jukebox, streaming music to the stereo where ever it is in the house. Supposed to be available by the end of July.

Apple is amazing! (So why am I still using a PC with Windows? Oh yeah - work. Ugh.)

Once I get back to my other desk at work I can give a detailed listing of the mp3 info. But I can tell you off hand that I have about 40gig of mp3s.

I am in the process of converting my CD collection over. I am about 2/3 done and still trying to find the time (motivation) to finish off. Seems taking pics is getting in the way of ripping ;)

Ok, have a little better idea of my current MP3 state.

approx 11,531 songs
approx 900 hours

I say approx because I know I have some more at home. But this is a very good representation of the currently available within finger distance.

Um, thats a good question. Don't know if I can get a quick answer on those.

I can tell you that I have 4 of these Media Towers (external link) full. So that would give an approximate.
