There are two ISO 3200 images in the gallery of bottles that handle noise very well. Phil didn't say what, if any NR was done. I'd like to know.

Posted 8 hours ago and still on the first page: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=367962 ... ;)

Looking at the ISO 3200 images from my 30D seems pretty much on par with those, very close anyway.

"very well"?!?!? I'd file that under "friggen amazing!"

3200... 3200!!!!

If that's what 3200 looks like I guess there won't be any difference between ISO 100 and 1600.... sheesh.

 amazing stuff there! If they are straight out of the camera (well even if they have been pp to be honest) they are stunning.

They can only post top quality pictures, but it does indicate that it's top draw.

the iso 3200 look very impressive. there was an early post from the guy in Hong Kong. His 3200 look about the same as 30 d, but I suspect he had underexposed the images.

The 3200 is not bad , pretty much the same or maybe slightly better than the 30D but it's very hard to tell for sure with those kind of shots. The green bottle gives a little better idea than the brown bottle. Still I'd like to know if any noise filter was used.

Aye, but don't forget there's an extra 2,000,000 pixels in there!

Looks great to me.

In-camera NR was off for these shots.

I must be doing something wrong with my 20D 'cause 3200 never looks like THAT.
