I have a lot of great shots, but they are underexposed:confused:;). I'm having hotshoe issues and can't wait to get them resolved.

No, and I'm not sure that would help. They are grossly underexposed. The flash was sitting on camera, but would only read TTL. It wouldn't fire unless you held the flash back so it made full contact. I'm trying to source some longer screws, or upgrade to the 40D

Sample of underexposure: and I don't shoot Raw when I want speed.

Hope she's doing well, and as stated, there will be another G2G later.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. She is doing better and on her way home.

Here's one of the Fantastikals.
I forgot that I had my flash turned off
('scuse my while I slap myself)
So it's a little more contrasty than I wanted.
By the time I got the flash turned on, she was gone.

Hawk, sorry to hear about your equipment problems.
I think there's a 40D in your future. Then your speed issues with RAW shooting will be a thing of the past. :D

Curtis....maybe you should edit your Flash Photography 101 to read....
Step 1 turn on flash :)

This after I introduced you to my wife as my hero of flash photography!!!!
She was my favorite to shoot. I loved her expressions.

Here are a couple of quick ones from the morning joust. During the show, one of the riders fell off his horse for real....not planned at all and took a really bad fall. He got up and acted like it was part of the show by yelling to the crowd that he was going back to the stables for more ale (his character was a drunken knight).

I have seen this show several times before and was really worried when he walked off....I hope he was not hurt too seriously! These are really tight crops and so they are not very high resolution.
