Here's is a shot I took back in April when I visited NYC. My wife's aunt lives here and a few years back it really needed a revamp. When I returned here, it was all redone and it looks soo retro. I thought I'd share this shot. Hope you like it. C&C please. Thanks.

I really like the stark background, the n the burst of color in the center brings the photo to life. Very nice capture, good composition. The absence of people is a nice touch.

Practice, practice, and practice some more, and when you think you have got it right, start over.

Very nice shot, jdizzle. Don't know why, but it looks like the table in the middle is almost floating. It also looks like the table attached to the wall on the right has only one leg. Is that true? If so, that's really bizarre, cuz it seems to me you'd either have two or none but not one! Thanks for sharing this one.

Sorry for the double reply, but I just noticed something else. Does the floor slope to the left side of the photo? That may be why the table appears to be floating. It almost looks like it does but that may be a trick of perception. I really like this photo for all of those little oddities! It's almost spooky in a Shining kinda way.

Thanks for the reply Randy! I was waiting to see if any body would notice these little oddites but, no one actually picked it out but you. :) The table on the right side is actually fastened to the wall, giving the impression of it having one leg. :) The floor tile pattern gives that impression that it looks like it's sloping. GOOD EYE! And the only one that noticed it. :) LOL!

I would have given clues but I waited to see if anybody saw it first. :)
