fine lens as you have shown, certain to show up any dust too! I like the view of the hopper.

Lovely shots- one thing the MPE-65 is famous for, is showing up every tiny bit of dirt on the sensor

We have you now -BWAHAHAHAHA

Congrats, and it looks like your off to an excellent start!

You'll become one with the universe and the spot healing brush in Photoshop -no matter how much you clean that sensor you're still gonna get dust spots in your images...

See you at the support meetings... ;)

Thanks Brian. I suppose its a small price to pay for owning this lens. I was very surprised though as the 30D is brand new;)

Do you have the twin light to go with it? I find it makes things so easy with this lens. I wish Canon's twin was wireless like Nikons, but I'll take what I can get.

Great shot of the fly. I have yet to get one. I''m looking for aphids too.

It is an awesome lens! I was talked out of it for a long time because people told me things that just weren't true about how easy this lens is to use and what subjects can be captured. I want to shoot myself for not getting it way back when. This lens is one of my favorites and I have many lenses to choose from. It's just sooooo fun!

Unfortunately there is a lot of misinformation floating around about the MPE-65 and any other lens that's less than 180mm. Someone needs to convince me that it's not a bug lens... ;)
