Excellent composition, and use of negative space. I have similar shots of shoes on an electric wire, but nothing like this. The crisscrossing wires make this photo. Well done. Pio

A lot of empty space but it is used well along with the shoes and most importantly the wires. I am Henry. NOT Hank. And certainly not a length of rope tied in a knot.

I've heard that as well, and it's been confirmed by a couple people I know. They still often indicate that. There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs. ~ Ansel Adams

The composition is great, but the contrast is lacking a bit — little dark. Try using just the red or green channel alone and print that. Could be cool. I'd like to see the sky go white and all the lines and shoes stay dark. Let the graphicness come through. Maybe? 5D MIII | 24-70L | 16-35L | 24-105L IS USM | 70-200L IS USM
