Have I reallly spent a minimum of 200 hours here? Well probably. I think I read far more than I type. Actually I am sure of it.

So what to do for 6000? I passed 3k, 4k, 5k with no fanfare. Not the kind to post that stuff or announce whenever the UPS truck rolls down my street.

I'm going to post one of my favourite images this past weekend. It's not clean, it's not pretty, heck it's even got my cliched zoom blur whick I overuse and love it. I does use ZOOMIFY, a great little export option from CS3 that exports files in a plug in format that allows you to post images at full res but also with thumbnails. You'll have to click the link to find out.

Can I ever equal the greats? 12,000 posts? Dear god another two years on POTN? Sign me up! Who makes this place fun for me? Grace, Gujustud, Saturnin, Con-dyke 2007, Petkal, MDJAK, Curtis, the list could go on and on.

So here we go, 6000 posts and beyond. thanks POTN, the collective minds have helped me along the way, I could only try to give back what I've got from this site.

Pekka and mods, you rock.

So back to zoomify... www.zoomify.com (external link) . go to File>Export>Zoomify in CS3. Have fun!

Standard web shot of Paul Buchanan, Xgames participant, former austin resident and Jesus Christ's stunt double:

HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'text/html' | Byte size: ZERO

Now click this link for the cool full res zoooooomify browser plug in to see it in full res with all my CS3 mistakes (external link)

I hope 6000 was as good for you as it was good for me

Okay, I know I JUST got off a houseboat yesterday, which is why I still feel like I am on the water (feels like my room is moving side to side) but this shot so keeps moving in my eyes.

Nice work! Sorry I couldn't come this sunday, we'll have to go out shooting soon.

That picture makes me dizzy.
Kinda cool, though.

I know you're bummed about losing your exalted place in my signature, being bumped by Scott Kelby of all people. But hey, you had your 15 minutes of fame, so be grateful.

Mostly your 6,000 posts have been sensible, profound and often entertaining. But I figure anyone who could go to the Bahamas, take pictures of beautiful, bikini-clad women for a living, and then move back to Canada, can't be all that smart.
