Portland is the city of roses. I was there years ago when they had 2 inches of snow. The only plows were at the airport. They closed the expressways. We went to a large area there that was full of roses. Can't remember the name (somezheimers) but it was a beautiful place.

At least it doesn't last long. It was gone the next day. I noticed a sign there that said in Portland you don't tan, you just rust!

I agree with mark evan. The second group of pictures, number 1 - close up of antique rose is simply stunning! Excellent work and lighting!

thanks. I really like the way the 1st (2nd set) came out too. 3rd I believe would have been great if there were a little flash to fill in the shadows on the bud & could have kept a little more contrast in the larger rose.
