I'm in the middle of post processing about 200 shots, hopefully I can stack a bunch of them and kill the noise. I'm not good at post processing, and I'm not keeping my hopes up for the shots, but the strange thing is that something managed to keep the fog at bay for most of the onset of the eclipse, I woke my nephew up durring the full onset to catch it before the fog filled in... My lense kept fogging up with condensation :(

The fog deal was interesting. There was a tunel of clear sky between my house and the moon, the rest of the area was surrounded by fog... Hopefully my pictures don't suck, cause I think there was some higher power pulling some strings to keep the fog away.

From northern Illinois:

Sigma 70-200 @ 200 f/2.8; 1.3 sec; ISO 800 nearly 100% cropped. I pulled expoure back a full f-stop in PP

My efforts from tonight. I just could not get a sharp image no matter how much I tried. But it was a spectacular sight to see the eclipse and the moon go this colour. My kids were enthralled.
