so my brothers girlfriend, of nearly 3 years, has a birthday coming up, and he wanted to do somthing fun for her. he does not work, and goes to school full time, so he came up with a wonderful idea about taking pictures and getting her a nice frame. he hit me up and we spent a couple hours at our local park while i played professional photographer. we had a great time and here are a couple of the shots. im happy with them, but tell me what you think. thanks

there was one where he was lifting her up and sitting her on the small wall, and they wanted somthing fun to counteract it. this is what we came up with. not quite how i was hoping it would turn out, but it ended up being a fun picture. yes i realise there is a tripod in the background. it will be photoshopped out when im done...and im not sure what that blur is, its the only blur in any of the 70 pics i took...interesting

Maybe the blur was a bug flying by? I think you're on your way to some awesome pictures. Pretty good job with the fill flash. Here are some of my comments:
1) I think a higher angle would do this shot more justice. That being said, this is my favorite of the set.
2) Do you have one where your brother is fully in the shot? I think that might look better. It's also a little dark.
3) How bout one of him looking at the camera with her? or them looking at each other? I'm not that fond of the exaggerated height either. Maybe it's because we've seen the other photos that show how tall he really is and it just doesn't seem right. Watch out for the flash shadows also.
4) Haha, great capture! I'm sure they'll get a kick out of that one!

All the shots are pretty centered too. Do you have some you can share with us where the subjects are not centered in the frame? Or close-up portraits of the two?

vermin, there is no exagerated height. she is 5' even and he is nearing on 6'3"...its impossiable to get them both fully in the shot!!!!

The tripod in the last one needs to go. The light is generally good, but I detect a little bit of being too aware of the camera. :)
