well i was out shooting in the backyard and saw that the grass was floewring these nice tiny purple flowers, so as im taking a snap this little bug flys by and lands next to me. so i go to capture it and realize its the smllest bee i have ever seen. its collecting pollen on grass flowers. all in all the little guys were abut 2.5-3mm long max. not the clearest but these guys are hard to get, they move constantly stopping for maybe 2-3 seconds max.

Good shots- assume your units are wrong somewhere- 3cms would be huge for a bee but 3mm would be a bit on the small side :)
