Alright here's the last one's I'm gonna post. These are probably my favorites even though they are probably the least "senior photoish" so I'm interested to hear everone's opinions on them.

I would like to see number threee in color, as I like number two, but in number 2 my eye is being drawn away from her and towards the gravel road. But all in all these are some great shots.

If your eye is drawn from her to a gravel road... somethings wrong! :P just kiddin.. I agree.. the road stands out a lot back in the shaded area..

These are good shots...

I like these the best of them all!!!! My thoughts on these:

Again, for senior portraits my opinion is that she should be looking at the camera. Just my opinion, I know not everybody agrees on this. Otherwise I really like #1.

In #2, I also think the gravel road attracts the eye too much. Since you're ok with image editing, below is how I would crop that photo. Still room for your logo in lower left corner (which I like much better there than in upper left as in series 1), and I think does Lauren more justice. She is beautiful and very photogenic!

#3 is nice too. The only thing I would watch in all of them is the shadow on her arm from the fence railing. Either have her rest her arm a bit closer to the elbow to get her arm out of the shadow or PP it out.

Overall I think you've done a great job with this series, thanks for sharing them!!!!

Her right eye seems weird to me. I think if we need some of the white there instead of her iris against the nose. Kind of like her nose is bisecting her eye.

#3 is by far the best composition; however she shouldn't be photographed so much from the side of her. This shows off her chest which you don't want to jump out at someone. It should be a pleasing shot without anything odd like that.

Thanks for all the comments everyone, it's always interesting and enlightening to see how other people see the photos.

She absolutely loves #2 and #3. #3 being her favorite of the bunch.

Skeeterbug - I like the crop, perhaps I'll present that to her as an option. As for the shadow on her arm, I'd rather her be comfortable than worry about a little shadow, but I do see your point. I don't know if it could have been helped though with the way the light was coming in.

As far as shooting from the side, at the time it offered the best lighting and effect I was looking for. In hindsight perhaps I should have moved more to an angle, but hindsight is always 20/20 :)

No fill light, just sunlight from behind me when I was shooting. The sun was setting at the time so the light was great!

Wow that 3rd shot (the B&W) is fantastic. I like these most out of your posts of this shoot. Great timing with the light. Thumbs up!
