Cover up the logo on the Lowepro bags and most of them will pass as regular bags.
I just got a Fastpack 350 and no one at work knew it was a camera bag til I told them. I'm thinking of covering the logo just in case.

Here is my updated bag. Add 70-200 f4L IS, 200mm f2.8L, and Canon 1.4 TC. Subtract 70-300 IS.

Great setup w/ the hoods. I currently reverse the hoods on my 35L and 70-200 4IS which are big enough that it limits me to only 3 horizontal sections and 1 vertical section (with the big lens). Since I dont have a photo/am too lazy, gogo ascii diagram of setup

The 1.4X extender is on top (Which IS white); I assume the 10-22 is underneath it.

I had more time this weekend to really go through both bags, and I finally narrowed it down to one. I'll be keeping the Lowepro Vertex 200 AW

. I was able to fit all the same equipment in both bags, so I think it was a fair fight.

Reasons why:
- Lowepro has a Rain cover, Tamrac doesn't.
- Lowepro has the Flash specific compartment on the lid, so I'm able to fit more lenses in the main.
- I'm able to mount my tripod on either the side or front of the Lowepro.
- I Noticable a difference in weight with the Tamrac. The softer padding helps a small bit, but the Tamrac still feels heavier.
- Tamrac has a big peice of padding on the bottom rear, and its very uncomfortable on my lower back, but the padding might help when using the waist belt (Which I don't).

So I got to use this bag for the first time "in the field" this past weekend. Fully stocked, including laptop the bag weighed in around 40-42lbs! While definitely heavy carrying it by the top strap, once on my back it was quite comfortable. The thick padding of the shoulder straps and waist belt and having everything adjusted made the bag very reasonable to carry. The best part was having ready access to a wide array of gear.

Not in the picture but I added the ProMax System, a whole bunch of AAs, camera strap, ST-E2 and flash foot, laptop charger, cell phone... Everything fit comfortably.
