Here's my latest bag, Lowepro Nature Trekker AW II

Inside are:

1D MK II
300 f2.8 IS
70-200 f2.8
24-70 f2.8
50 f1.4
85 f1.8
580 EX II
Rocket blower

The 2 small primes' hoods are on the 580 EX II.
The 300 f4 is in a LC4 case and can be attached to the side.

It's heavy, very heavy.

The latest acquisition, and not quite permanently organized yet... A LowePro CompuTrekker Plus AW - for when you absolutely, positively must take nearly everything - including a 17" MacBook Pro. Click for larger/info:

Funny you should mention that...

This past weekend I'm up in Albany (a four hour drive from home) at an engagement party shoot (family) when I go to grab my "70-200mm" and what do I pull out? The 100-400mm! *sigh*

How well does OS work at 4000? Where'd you find such a rare piece of equipment. Talk about a one lens for all.

My new bag I just sold.

LOL - works quite well actually - but I am getting only 10% of the range for the moment :)

That's disappointing. Did they forget to include the other 90?

Aw, now no one will know what I was talking about.

Diff'rent strokes. I used the 70-200 at a wedding on Saturday; great for candids across the reception area, and for bride and groom shots in open air. And as a walk-about when I think I'll need more than the 24-105.

The 200 2.8 is usually coupled with my 20D for sport; that's when the x1.4 extender gets its occasional outings. Subjectively, I do believe it's a shade crisper. And it's light enough to be handholdable. A delightful lens. I have no intention of parting with it!

The generic flash (brand name is YinYang ... or something like that ) is from my S3IS days which doesnt have a hotshoe - so I used to trigger it with a optical slave flash trigger. I still do this with the 40D where the 430EX sits on the hot shoe and the generic is triggered by the optical trigger. I am trying to move the 430EX off camera as well ....
