You can find lots of gently used bags in that range...that were at one time more than that price, that would do well for your gear...just have to check out the used gear forums, like on here, or other sites.

The search still continues. Was just an example, you need to find a bag that looks like it can hold what you need, and if its just a little over your $80 budget, search for some used versions of it. Thats what I did. I love Crumpler bags, found me some good used versions, and saved $$$$.
