I read somewhere that the difference between black bear poop and grizly bear poop was that black bear poop smells like poop and has blueberry twigs in it whereas Grizly poop smells like pepper and has bells in it.

lol :D

Upgraded my Retrospective 10 to a Retrospective 30 recently. Just as good as the 10 but with more space. Loving it.

Gonna get a Retrospective 30 next month as well (going with the pine though). Looks like a good bag, my LowPro Slingshot 350 isn't cutting it. It is just too awkward to change lenses when just sliding it up front. I'll keep it for hiking days as the support is probably more comfortable but the Retrospective will be nice for just walking around.

You made that? If so, NICE! Looks professional quality and craftsmanship.

Thank you!

Very nice bag JDubya, if I didn't know better I'd say it was factory made. What sort of prices do your bags carry? I bet it won't be long before someone says something like magnets and electronics are a bad mix xD.

Thanks! Depending on how it's optioned out, around $300 for this one. haha yeah, some people are scared of magnets

Someone asked about the loops on the underside of the top flap so I'll also explain it here also. There are three padded pockets for slim items like memory cards. There's thick padding on the bottom of the pocket and thin padding above it. The loops are paracord pull-tabs

Hmm, whilst $300 seems reasonable for a quality custom bag I can't afford that right now, will definitely keep you in mind for the future though. Do you do other stuff like straps and lens coats?

Yup, I can definitely do straps. I've never made a lens coat but I could try. Is there something about the real LensCoat you don't like?

I've never used one, but maybe something a bit more padded would be better to protect the lens if dropped or bumped against something.

Vowzers! $300? Pricey but I'm not to judge. I know it takes time and materials to do such a great work. If it was massed produced, it would definitely be cheaper.

Wish I had your skills. I'm trying to find a small elastic band. Want to use it to hold the excess straps in place. I have a Black Rapid Strap and when I tighten it, I have excess strap that is dangling. It has a clip to hold it but it keeps coming out. With my old LowePro SlingShot, it had this elastic band. I'll PM you to see how much something like this would cost.
