Lowepro Inverse 100 AW.

Contents are the 7D-un-gripped for this bag with a 50mm 1.4 on the camera and a 10-22 lens.

I was hoping to get my flash in here also, but the 580 is way too big for this bag. I may however slip my 270ex in there.

However with that said, the 580 will fit in there if you set it on top of the camera and zip the bag closed. I dont like camera gear to rub, so I wont be doing this, but it is an option. Also, I could wear the camera on the strap, and put the flash in the bag. So there are options.

ETA: Also, this bag comes with a shoulder strap. You can fold the waist-straps in around the back and carry this on your shoulder, also.

Quick question:
Any suggestions for a bag/case to tote around a G12? And/or a wrist strap?
Heading to Lalapalooza and aside from holding the camera I'd like to keep this gem safe and handy whenever a picture moment happens. TIA

Black-Rapid SnapR sounds ideal for you.

They have them on eBay... most of them are coming from HK though.

great bag never-the-less. check my clik bag for a nice hiking bag. in my siggy.

Indeed, will serve as good day bag. I have Urban Disguise 50 for university as it can take MF cameras quite easy + the laptop compartment is great. :)

I checked the Clik bag, looks quite good but I can't justify another bag. :D Still need to replace Streetwalker with Airport TakeOff.

I really like it, but it does wear in quickly. I accidentally left strobist gel pack in rear pocket. Now there is a square mark where it was :D

Yeah ... they are from a eBay vendor. I found one offering a "set" of several caps that were reasonably priced with bulk shipping. I contacted the seller and he customized the set to the mix of sizes that I wanted. They have worked well so far.

The only caution is with very wide lenses where the glass may extend further out than normal. Since the cap is slightly thicker in the middle to accommodate the pinching mechanism, be sure there is still some clearance to be sure not to scratch the surface of the lens.

I'm looking at that too.
I used an Op/Tech sling jury-rigged up when I was in Quebec City. Saved my G11 several times. It was raining, and I huried.

Now I have an LX5 (darn. :( and an electronic view finder. It doesn't fit in a SnapR.

OpTech has this for little cameras. There are other choices there. Just work your way through the site....
http://optechusa.com …s/compact-strap-trio.html (external link)

SnapR is a sling, a bag supported off the sling, and/or a wrist strap. It connects to the tripod socket on the base of the camera, unless you find a fitting at Op/Tech say that will go off the strap attachment points.

In the past I've used a LowePro AW bag and a Domke gripper strap. Darn these things get expensive.

Like this one. They used to come in smaller sizes.

The little strap that came with the bag was useless. So slippery I had to hold onto it with both hands. :(

Best,
DaveL

I'm assuming they will work with uv filters on the lenses? I already ordered some :) I have been wanting some caps like these.

That should be no problem ... the filter is flat.;)

Got my Gravity bag this week, feels great for the price! Since the inserts listed on page 1/2 are not shipping for a while, anyone know of any other inserts that will fit this bag?

I have this Clik Elite Bodylink bag for a few months now. I added the Manfrotto ball head. Works great! My Domke FX-3 serves for daily use though.
