Which size bag and insert do you have?

i have a Medium size bag with the Medium insert.

with the Commute 2.0, i am able to fit my 5D Mk III with the 580EX flash and the following lenses.

24-70mm with hood on backward.
50mm
15mm fisheye

and the 15" macbook pro in the outside laptop compartment.

after all of that, it still leave me room for spare items such as extra batteries and my Lee holder and filters.

Rotate those bodies (standard grip up) - makes it easier to grab and set in, and lenses will sit lower in the case, allowing you to put some stuff overtop, like your straps - and might gives you a few more cubic inches

and which bag is this?

I have a XS Classic messenger. I was thinking about getting an insert an using it as a lens bag for events. There is already a bag just for lens', just can remember what it's called.

Thanks for the tip. This is a Lowepro Pro roller 2. They actually don’t make these anymore. I love it!

This is when I pack my backpack the Lowepro CompuTrekker AW. I don't normally carry everything like this but this is how it was packed recently for a shoot. I also carry my Crumpler 7MDH and also have a Lowepro Outback 200.

Was requested to post more photos of the Think Tank Retrospective 5 once I had gotten the 5D Mark III to see how it fit, and well.. It fits!

The first three snapshots is shown with the 5D3 with a 50L attached w/ hood and a 24-70L on the side(No Hood). It's a decently tight fit, but it works. I find myself having to take out the body first if I want to take out the 24-70L. Then when putting the camera equipment IN the bag, I first place the 24-70L, then the body(With 50L).

The last three show the 5D3 with the 24-70L attached(No hood) and the 50L on the side(With hood attached).

With the 24-70L attached to the body, it will pop out the bag about an inch or so(Shown in last three images). Nothing too major, but makes you a bit more careful in the back of your head which sometimes bugs me.

As for padding.. it's not the most padded up bag and I definitely don't recommend throwing it around, but it will add extra protection regardless.

It's a very convenient sized bag to carry around with ya, especially for walk around. When I know I'm shooting natural lighting only with these two lenses, this is the bag I take along with me. Very discreet, stylish, and comfy =) I love this bag ;D

Why would you even post this, especially about a 7 year old post.

Got the bag today, 11 days from China, not to bad. I think it's made pretty nicely. Double stitched in places, nice webbed material on the straps, leather at the buckles and snaps. A large outer pocket under the main flap, two small outer pockets on the ends, another pocket inside. The padded insert has decent padding and 4 velcro dividers. The material on the padded insert is looser than I expected, this would be the only fault I have found so far. The size is great for what I wanted. Great deal for $53 including shipping.

I've just bought the same bag of Ebay, came last friday and i got to admit for the price its a great bag, i got my 1Ds, sigma 70 to 210mm f2.8, 15 to 30mm, 28 to 70mm f2.8 and my 430EX plus 3 other 1Ds battery's, and other bits, just right for a stealthy bag (until you take your camera out lol). I was thinking of wax waterproofing mine the same as my Barbour jacket.
