Most of my gear lives in here full time but I've had troubles with airplanes & weight to carry on. Have since picked up an X100 as well to carry slightly less.

Would you be so kind as to post some pictures of the X100? ive been contemplating that one, just not sure how good it would be for international carry on or even domestic carry on

Sure here you go. This is from a recent trip overseas. managed to fit 2 bodies and 4 lens and a bunch of other stuff. And it has an internal pouch for a laptop (no bigger than a netbook or tablet in reality). No room for the 70-200 in that configuration but would fit ok if I moved around a bit. All up it weighed about 10kg.

I really like the Roller x200 neilwinch.

I have the Vertex 200 AW, I really like it so far, and I loaded it up with everything I have minus the XTi, 11-16, and 18-50.
The bag is now a bag of bricks, and hard on the shoulders. The flash accessories will have to travel in another bag, I never use them anyways.

Should I be considering the roller x200, as it's the same size as the vertex 200 as a roller bag would be easier to move?

The Crumpler I use for everything else when not doing gigs that require everything.

The Domke is my deployment/roughing it bag. A lot more rugged than the Crumplers...well maybe. My Crumplers are my "nice" bags I take to events and weddings so they need to remain presentable. I plan to use the Domke as my outside outings bag and for another 4 months of deployment. As said, there can't be just one.
