Tempting if I could look at them locally. They look more like a brief case then a photography hard case like the pelicans. i'll say it again... its Zero Halli... --------------------

One of the nice things about Zero Halliburton is that you can buy new foam inserts for specific cases, so if your gear changes over time, you can start from scratch with new foam/cutouts. I've done that a couple times. B&H sells the foam. By the way, I've bought all my Halliburton cases used when and where I find them. I ended up throwing one of them out, but that was after some very hard use that resulted in fatal damage. If there's one complaint about all aluminum cases, it's how they look after a couple years of use. They still work great, but really start to look ratty. On the other hand, how better to look like an old pro? The zero haliburton on eBay are very reasonable in price. It is almost like why would you buy the knock off. Canon bags are not that great I think. Crumpler makes sweet shoulder bags, and backpacks too I think. The haliburton sure is sweet, eh? It won't be that much, probably like 50% more then my crumpler 7MDH. I'll avoid it for now though, cause it will attract a lot of attention on a kid I think. Problem is you can't get it yet in the UK. thanks for that link. is the 300 slightly larger then the 200? the 20d with the 100 macro it looked kinda tight. Is there any problem closing it up? |Canon 80D|40D backup|24-105 F4/L|Sigma 70-200 F/2.8|Sigma 150-500 C|

Is there any problem closing it up? Well I have it stuffed full so it is tight. I now keep the camera on its side, which makes it a lot easier; also I have removed the extra internal spaced from the inside of the centre section. The 100mm macro is no problem. Width with hoods on is more of an issue but I can manage no worries. It's the hoods that take the space up. Gear List
