Bearing in mind the description, I'd say EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6, which is the Canon kit lens. It's rather hard to say, but it does look like a little plastic bodied lens.

One camera is the Canon A2 (film) with 28-105mm lens on, and the other is the 1d MKII with the 70-200mm IS f/2.8 on. Flashes are 430EZ, and 550EX. Canon battery pack. Loose lenses are 16-35mm, and 24-70mm, all Canon L's. The photos were taken with a G7 with the 580EX.
