Lowepro Pro Roller X300

This is sort of my full wedding setup except:
- I remove the 40mm and add 2 small LEDs I use for macro shots in that spot
- remove one of the battery packs (where there are currently 3), put the 135L in that spot
- put that removed battery pack in a pocket on the other side of the suitcase
- pack the 7D2 in the slot (currently holding the 135L) as a backup body / body for the 135L for outdoor good light, high SS portraits

On the other side of the bag I store:
- batteries, flash gels, tools, waterproof flash card holder, etc

I use a Think Tank Pro Speed 2 belt with lots of climbing clips (you will see small orange clips on the battery packs)

So you like the 600RT I see. Never interested in moving to the barebulb style?

OH... and I see you don't have the 24L in there or 14 or the fish.... not much of a wide guy huh?

There is an 8-15mm L Fisheye in the bag (on the left side - just above the bottom corner) - also the 17-40 F4 L top right.

I have thought a lot about a fast very wide prime, and may do it, but so far the 35 1.4 and the 24-70 2.8 and the above 2 wide angle zooms seem to work. I also have the 35 F2 with IS that I use in certain situations and really like a lot.

A crop lens that I have, and that I wish was available in full frame, is the 18-35 1.8 Sigma. This is a lens that I would pay a serious amount of money for because I could shoot an entire wedding likely on that and the 70-200 IS.

In terms of flashes, I was sort of in the gear investment stage when the 600EX-rt was out and on sale ($400 not the $600 list) and decided after some experimentation that they worked well for me. I carry 2 triple flash brackets that I can very quickly rig up either a powerful off camera flash system if need with battery packs that work in full day sun with high speed sync, work on or off camera as bounce flash and are very easy to control either in manual mode, ettl mode, combo mode within the 5D3's menu system. From a reception perspective, again you can have lights in corners on small stands, attached high up hidden away with clamps with battery packs, and change everything from the camera or from an attached 600Ex-rt to give you focus assist in low light or from the ST-E3-rt Controller if required. I have also rigged up a Manfrotto 1005BAC stand with 2 C clamps that I can very quickly, if needed outdoors, attach 6 flashes, with gels if required as the flashes all have HONL velcro straps on them, that can directly into the sun at very high shutter speeds to blend the ambient and fill flash. I looked into Profoto B1s and their controller system but decided for now that what I have works for me. I did invest in 2 Wescott LED daylight balanced Ice-Lights which I think are great for very quick setups for indoor portraits or night time lighting - they only last just over 1hr so you really need two and or the battery pack (which I listed in the bag description as being under the 8-15mm L Fisheye zoom)

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

awesome! Yes I was thinking of adding another 600RT so I have three only because I have one tri-adapter also. I've heard that works out well outdoor. However I just ordered the Cells II trigger so that'll let me have HSS with the 360s and from what I've heard that one light in HSS is equal to about 3-4 of the 600RTs.

Good bag and love the setup. I may end up with that bag as a location bag myself. Thanks for your photo!

I finally got an Fstop backpack. I decided on the Kenti for the easy access. I love the small size too. Smaller and lighter than I expected. Very comfortable.

I plan to use it mostly with 2 cameras each with a lens mounted but here I have my 5d2 with my 8-15 on one side and my 24LII, 17-40 and 100mm Macro on the other
- The lenses actually fit just as well standing up which leaves room to spare for a flash or other accessory.

I'm off to Minsmere (RSPB reserve in Suffolk, east UK) on Tuesday and I've been trying to pack 'lightweight'. Instead of the more bulky Think Tank Glass Limo, I've managed to pack my gear into the smaller TT Streetwalker Pro.

In the pic, 500 f4, 1.4x, 1D3, space for 5D3.....(used it for the photo) plus space for keys, cards, wallet and drinks in the side pockets. This combo isn't on their website as possible, but it is, so don't discount this bag for long lenses! The only annoying thing about this bag is the fact that it won't work with add on pouches.

The zips do up without feeling at all stretched.

I am looking for a backpack to hold my 7dII with a 24-105 attached, a 70-200, and one more lens. I would like it to have a removable insert for the camera gear (not a must) and enough room for other things like water, food, hiking essentials. I am considering the manfrotto off road and the lowepro photo sport 200 aw. What would you guys suggest? Thanks in advance. Cory

F stop are really missing a trick with Europe. I would have loved a Satori with the largest ICU that would fit, but buying over here is a real pain, so I stuck with Gura Gear and ThinkTank.

They appear to have supply issues from some of their Facebook posts.

You need to honesty just keep visiting the F-Stop site.

Ive been trying to buy a guru in Malibu blue and medium slope ICU and nothing is ever in stock. Some days the ICU would be and the bag but not in the right colour. Last week I checked it all again and it was all in stock so I've ordered my second guru after selling my first one and stupidly buying a Tamrac evolution 9 that the zips kept bursting on.

Due to an experience I once had on an airline with a 7D/35mm f/1.4L, I want to definitely recommend not ever storing a camera in a camera bag with a lens mounted. Especially in the case of a long lens.

When the bag is handled, even just for regular movement and storage on location, though protected with foam padded interiors, there are substantial pressures on the lens/camera mount that are not present in normal use of the camera. These pressures can torque the lens body, eventually causing damage.

My $0.02, plus California taxes ...
