Nothing special, not even any HIV... but what the heck, I'll share them away.

Couple Common Hoverflies (Ischiodon scutellaris)

And first time I've came across one of these beasts, about 20mm's in length.

Not sure on the species... wish I could of gotten some better composed shots -- but it only stuck around for the one.

Love the second two shots- great colour and light.
#1 look similar to Episyrphus balteatus and #3 looks like Helophilus pendulus but I've heard you get similar looking but different species in Os.

Brian I think your correct. After doing a search on google it looks as if the Episyrphus balteatus is also located in Australia and looks much more like the 2 in my pics. Didn't think there would be some of the same species as in Europe/America.
