Nothing special, not even any HIV... but what the heck, I'll share them away. :o

Couple Common Hoverflies (Ischiodon scutellaris)

And first time I've came across one of these beasts, about 20mm's in length.

Not sure on the species... wish I could of gotten some better composed shots -- but it only stuck around for the one. :(

Love the second two shots- great colour and light.
#1 look similar to Episyrphus balteatus and #3 looks like Helophilus pendulus but I've heard you get similar looking but different species in Os.

Cheers for the comments guys.
Brian I think your correct. After doing a search on google it looks as if the Episyrphus balteatus is also located in Australia and looks much more like the 2 in my pics. Didn't think there would be some of the same species as in Europe/America.
