I just got a 3021 BPro delivered today. In the pamphlet that came with the tripod it mentioned that a carrying strap supplied for transportation. There was no strap. I know that straps are available for sale. Is the pamphlet wrong or should there been some kind of strap?

Thanks.

Rick

PS: I also got a Canon 7-200 2.8L IS along with the tripod.

Rick, I suspect that may have been an error in the pamphlet. I didn't get a carrying strap with mine either. I bought mine direct from a local camera store in the box, if that makes any difference.

Copy the pamphlet with a scanner and send it to Manfrotto and ask for your strap. Either they have made a mistake with the pamphlet and should withdraw it, or someone snagged the strap. In any case it'd be worth the effort.

I bought the same tripod, new in box from B&H, and no strap was included. My pamphlet also mentioned it,but I haven't missed it so far.

I didn't get a strat with my Manfrotto tripod (different model though). I bought it locally, and the sales woman showed me the strap, too it was a little over $20.

Manfrotto

I bought mine from Adorama. I'm still waiting for a response from them.
