im looking for a ballhead for my monopod, and it might be used on my tripod too
currently looking at the manfrotto 486/488 and the slik ballhead 800
i currently am using a 234RC head on my monopod
and a 700dx pro head on my tripod
just wondering what you all reccomend, the biggest camera and lens i use at the moment is a 1dmk2n and 70-200 2.8
i would like something that will support a 300 2.8, as that will be my next big lens that i purchase in around a years time (and i dont really want to upgrade my tripod/monopod heads again)
what do you all reccomend, im kinda leaning towards the SLIK, but i find the manfrotto plates more comfortable to leave on the camera
put this in the wrong subforum - could a mod please move it to accessories+storage
