Picked up a new Canon 85MM F1.8
Ill be heading to the boys basketball practice for our local high school to give it a try. Pics to follow tonight.

I got it for $305 with hood from Vivek, here at the forum. It is tack sharp and on a crop body it gives a FOV of a 135mm. The f/1.8 helps in indoor stuff. "Ne nuntium necare"

Takes alittle getting used to ... more practice is deffinetly needed.

You're right about that particular moment... I couldn't back up fast enough to keep sufficient distance from the subject... It was a face and upper bod shot...from within 3' feet. John Stoy
