why doenst Canon lower price on 1Ds

If they dropped the price on their mark III series that might do a world of good esp in light of the focus issues

I still dont understand the cost either.
Lower prices = sell more = make more money.

If there is still a waiting list for the 1DMIII and Canon did lower the wholesale price would you think Dealers will lower their price???

The laws of supply and demand prevails!!!

Currently the demand is greater then the supply.

Exactly - they can't sell more than they can make, and right now, they are selling every 1D3 that they make. When supply catches up with demand, the price will begin to drop.
