I've been sort of lurking here for a while (I usually post in the travel & Landscape forum), and thought I would share 2 of my photos taken at my local train stop. C&C welcome and appreciated. Thanks for looking!

Hey welcome to this side of POTN, Bryan! I like your conversion in the first one, it has good tonal range. I like the second one better though because of the subject matter (I love bikes ), although the photo seems to be a bit soft, and a bit wanting in contrast. I like the composition though, I woiuld guess that this was taken on poor light, with a slow shutter speed. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the comments. I'm not sure what happened on that second shot, I think maybe my focus point was too far down the hall, past the bike.

Very nice done, the South Attleboro station is really neat. I have brought my camera there a few times to take some shots as well.

That is the train station I am at every morning and when I first saw the first shot I thought, hey, that looks an awful lot like the South Attleboro station. Then I saw the bike in the second shot, and knew immediately where it was.

I should point out that I got busted by an MBTA cop for taking pics there. It is illegal to take pics of MBTA property without permission. Luckily for me, the cop was a photographer and was asking me a lot of gear questions instead of giving me a citation. :)

Like wise the first is my pick.
Perhaps theres a lesson for all of us and it's to get more "Cops" interested in photography

I like them both very much. I'm such a newb to photography, so I can't offer any C+C.

However, I have been trying to practice my awareness of compostional properties. I really love the lines in both shots. Thanks for posting these :)
