Another robberfly eating. They are so easy to shoot when they are eating.
There is a small bridge that goes over a bit of a stream that runs into the pool where most of the dragonflies are. On the bridge is a handrail this is where a lot of robberflies eat there victims. Only trouble is it's under a lot of trees and is dark so have got to use flash.

The flash is on the bracket next to the lens, but I had to be above it to get the shot.

interesting, the Robberflies love the hand rails on the wooden bridges in nearby Bushy Pk. Maybe LordV would find his first Robber if he built a bridge over his Carp pond?

Looks like it is slightly ahead of the lens which jibes with the image shadows. It also seems you use some kind of diffusser on the flash. I see that LordV uses a paper towel. Yours looks neater.
