Hi all,
I know there is a thread with 17-40L pics, but can you guys post some pics on a FF camera like a 5D? I am very interrested how it will perform on that body!

I hope someone will accommodate your request, however bare in mind that most posted images are post processed and given this fact, can negate some optical qualities a lens has. Regardless, I can say from experience that the 17-40L provides great color, contrast and sharpness that you'll love.


Gear is essential, but often has little to do with composition, pictures, and art...Alfred Steiglitz :lol:

Canon 5D, Canon 1D Mark II, All L primes from 14mm through 200mm. All L zooms from 16mm through 400mm. 2.0x TC

5D and 17-40L @ 17 with a Hoya CP attached. Note, slight vingetting in upper right and lower left corners. The CP was not the cause.
