Excellent series.
Think #1&2 is more likely a horse fly species with eyes like that (ie a biting fly).
Love the mantid with the fly- even like the treatment you gave the last shot (don't normally like part coloured images).

I agree dark on my laptop too, but a super set of shots.

Same as Toby and Alby, a bit dark but very nice set all the same.
