hi all

i've been using a usm action since ps2(now cs3) and it's worked fine.

i set it up in image processor and it runs through x amount of photo's.

recently for no reason it wants to stop at ever photo at the save stage of the action.

i've tried everything including re-writing the action to no avail.

help please

thanks as always

martin

Hi Martin,

What are you saving it as? If it's a jpeg, there's lots of things that can stall that - 16bit, extra channels, extra layers, etc.

With CS3 you might try smart sharpen instead. It does a better job then USM. I haven't used USM since I tried smart sharpen (called adjust sharpness in PSE 5).
