Close up of female southern hawker. I got a couple with compound eye detail but they threw so much else of the subject OOF that I thought this one was better. The dragonfly was ovipositing, therefore continually moving and focus stacking wasn't an option.
To please RedHot, I used a Canon close up lens on my Sony camera/zoom. :D

Thanks guys. Bought a job lot on ebay today, a film camera plus 2/3 lenses, and I think there's a sigma 105mm macro lens in there. Fingers crossed!
