I normally shoot performing arts photos occasionally shooting portraits for friends or family. My church has asked me to shoot photos for a church directory a booklet that contains members photos, names and contact info. can anyone suggest some software that might help in organizing this booklet? Also what about software that would help manage individual portraits done for groups? Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Are you wanting the software to prepare the booklet or to manage the images?

Hi Basil! I was in Branson last weekend, hit the outlet malls.

I did a google search and found a couple of programs that might help you. I haven't tried them, so I can't comment on their usefullness. The first one is freeware: http://www.download3k.com …h-Directory-Software.html (external link)

The second one is on sale for about a hundred bucks: http://www.abcfastdirectory.com/index.php (external link)

Hope this helps. Craig

I was thinking that I could put it together using Quark, but then I thought there must be something that could do it for me. Maybe entering each family's contact info with the picture and the program that would alphabetize and spit it nicely formatted pages. Maybe even using a customized template. Just seemed like there should be something out there to automate the process. But maybe not... ;)

Thanks for pointing those out. The abcfast directory looks like what I'm after. Now I just need to play with the demo and see how well it works.

I appreciate the input!
