I took this about 2 hours ago and the shot came out near perfect focus for the camera's autofocus. I usually manually focus cuz the camera has a tendency to not focus on the moon for some reason. Anyway, uploaded it, PP, cropped it 100% and was so happy with my results and how sharp the picture was.

Here is the shot, i am so pissed about photobuckets resizing. It's totally ruined the pic. This was also taken at 400mm and a 100% crop, look how small it is. Is there any other sites i can host images that will not resize my pics when i upload them for hosting?

Very nice and clear. Handheld or tripod?

I use http://imageshack.us (external link) to upload my photos...don't think it resizes them, but it can if you want it to.

thanks im going to look into it tonight. shot was i think 1/160@f8 iso 100, tungsten wb is closest i've used to get the white light off the moon.
