This is my son Aidan, he is now in the stage of throwing stuff out of his crib and cry 5 mins later to complain how they are no longer in his procession.
I love him to death..it must be a parent thing...he is the funniest person I know.

Shot in his bedroom, used a reflector by the window to "relay" more light.

All are very nice.

I'm +/- on the captions...I realize however that's personal preference...I would say that if you are intent on doing it...you consider different placement on #5...it's almost unreadable.

He's got some teeth, huh? We have a 5 month old...hard to believe we could be looking at teeth like that in 6 months! I see now why they make those rubberized crib guards!:D

Again, I think these are excellent...be sure to back-up! You'll want these forever!!!

Thanks! He actually got his 1st pair of font teeth when he was 4th month old. I always wanted to do caption, but can only apply on these and not on the client's...haha.

I like #4 where he's reaching over the crib with a toy.

These are great! Yeah I'm wondering what lens this is too. Any info on PP techniques you used?

I used a 50mm f1.4 and 17-85mm f4-5.6. I am pretty sure the sharp one are from the 50mm.

For PP, some of the photos I did apply an action for sharpening eyes (basically just unsharp mask with history brush to go over the eyes, which added sharpness and sparkle)...

All of them have a lens correction filter with +1 distort and some amount of Vignette. I somehow always use the +1 distortion with edge extension for portrait.

Border are layer filled at 0% and with layer styles at inner glow.

I really like the captions, not only will it be a lovely thing for him to look at when he's older, but it adds a cheeky edge to the pics, almost like they're from a parenthood magazine!

Do you consider yourself knowledgable and want to share your skills with a group of photography students in Manchester, UK? PM me if interested. :)

I added the caption mostly because my in-law once said that they sometime have trouble remembering how old he is in the photographs, which doesn't help when they are bragging (their words) the photo album in font of their friends...

I kinda like the idea. Actually most of the photographer I know who are from Hong Kong do these kinda thing. I do sometime get frown up on among my friends here in Canada, since they don't like MASSIVE PP or added effect in Photoshop.
