Thanks very much scokar... These were shot with a 100-400 and 1.4xTC on a 1DMKII glad you like them :) You are right too the wind was blowing at a decent clip ;)Take care

Thanks for the nice compliment on these 4g :D I like the 100-400 for the 400 side of things, and often use the 1.4 TC.. As you know it delivers better bokeh with the TC and of course at the 560mm focal length you can keep your distance and they stay put a lot longer than when trying to approach them to closely.. The 100-400 has the focal length, enough speed, and is light enough to wield around and get them quick... With our 1D series bodies the auto focus works well enough to use on them... These are all auto focused with a MKII.. I really appreciate the nice comment... Take care:)
