FYI,

I'm to the point where i've recharged batteries a few times and have been keeping up with power consumption. I gotta admit battery life is darn good.

I just hooked a battery up to recharge, it was reporting that it had 30% of it's power left, after shooting 4126 images with it, an air show, 2 basketball games and 1 football game.

Very impressive results!

I just wonder how well these new batteries hold up to severe cold. I guess I'll find that out soon enough.

Geeeeeeeeeeee, I would only 6 1D batteries (3lbs) for 4000 shots.

We are going to have alot of out-of-shape 1DIII shooters.

Speaking for myself I'm sure that's true. But I doubt the batteries are the reason for it;);)
