How were you able to focus when taking close-up of yourself?

And what were you doing with those tubes?

How about a shot like that of your daughter? I'd be willing to bet her nose is not nearly so gross.

Nice self-portraits, Doc. But isn't there already a thread for that?

Let us try to elevate the photographic merit of this thread. What follows here may not be pretty to look at, but hey, most of our realities ain't so either.

Here is Olli-graph with his daughter during a recent visit to Toronto..
Then, there is Ronald Sr.Jr. hauling tomatoes for their customary sauce preparation. (Yes, Ronald might have aged a bit since you saw him last:(......running his family's business has exacted a heavy toll on the boy.)

Thanks, everyone. :)

First shot is of my shih tzu's schnozola.

Second shot is of my Dogue de Bordeaux's schnoz also.

As to what tubes I used, I used all of 'em.
A kenko 36 closest to the camera, followed by the 20, 12 and a Canon 25, all on my 70-200 f2.8IS.

So, have I finally taken a bona fide macro shot?
me
