I was out taking pics and some baby ducks swam by, and this is about my favorite one that i came out with...

The favorite thing I like to see the ducklings do I haven't been able to catch on film yet. I only get so many chances a year since they grow up quick. I'll be watching these ducklings swim behind there mothers and one will sort of wander about and have to catch up. To catch up he starts to swim really fast, but since he weighs almost nothing being so small he actually runs on top of the water. There is no flying involved, duckling wings can't do that yet. It only lasts for a couple seconds and you can't really expect to see it a lot. I hope to get some good sharp pics of it one day though. May take a few years to get enough breeding cycles etc.

Your pic makes me wonder if this guy started to run and lost his balance.
