evaluative or centerweighted average on 5D

Of the 2 most common metering methods mentioned...Evaluative or Centerweighted Average...which of the 2 is the most commonly used most by you on the 5D?

Neither, I use only spot metering on my 5D
I used large spot (partial metering) on my 10D.

Center Weighted Averaging for me, with a bit of English when needed.

Spot + manual only.

I use both but, it really depends on my lighting situtation that would fit best.

That depends on the situation...I use both... partial works better sometimes...

I don't know if it maters which body it is, unless you're talking about spot which the 20D and below don't have but I use all metering modes depending on the situation. I don't think there is just one that will do everything best all the time. However, I think that if I only had one choice I'd choose spot.

Evaluative when the scene is 'well-balanced' (not high contrast) - works pretty well. Spot for high-contrast scenes and special situations where a small subject is dominated by a dark/bright environment.
