Great sale price in Canada for the 5D & 40D

I Noticed a great sale price for the 5D and 40D at Futureshop in Canada (sale ends tomorrow).

And the 5D is still eligable for the $350.00 mail in rebate until midnight.

Tell me about it. I am so tempted to order a 5D. But the 40D was even more tempting At the equivalent of $1180 US it's cheaper than anything I've seen south of the boarder even it they won't be shipping for a couple more weeks.

Sweet deals, but I'll wait till I'm back in Canada around Xmas. I'm pretty sure the boxing day deals will be sweeter.

just want to let ya know bestbuy cheaper by maybe 50. dammit have not used my best buy card not allowing me to use it, ship by air cheaper too just woundering the 14 day return only from date of delivered or the order date? me think i got to ask that just incase i need to return if camera comes deffective.

That's a better deal than I expected, and somehow I missed seeing it on my email of the sale. Since I was going to buy one anyway and I just received the rebate cheque for the 5D I bought from their Canada Day sale I just ordered one. Again thanks, I had missed the sale price & you have saved my some money. Larry

just ordered on 40d so ill talk tommorrow to rep on when i get it and the timeframe to return if defects. those damm delivery guys here are crazy drivers . im excited wife aint to much....

Nobody in Canada has the 40D yet, but for $150.00 less than everybody else I'm willing to wait for them rather than the local stores who are taking pre orders for $1399.00 CDN.

They do have stock on the 5D, as least last time I checked their website. I still have a few hours to change my mind and get the 5D and still qualify for the rebate

If I would win the loto I would not be wasting my time with Canon or Nikon low end cameras.
I would look into higher end equipment like the 1DsmkIII. 21MP SOB.
