Great sale price in Canada for the 5D & 40D

Yeah that sucks... was gonna order one today. Oh well, I'll wait til there's another sale.

I got an email today from The Camera Store in Calgary with their price ($1379) and that only gets GST added to it plus a $10.00 fee for postage so that might be a good bet for a while (www.thecamerastore.com) They have been great to deal with on previous purchases, & fast delivery too.

Got my order in yesterday for the 40D at $1249 with only the GST and $13 for air shipping. Now I just have to be wait for them to get their stock. OH, the agony of having to wait. Please, somebody build me a time machine Or send me a bag of something good to keep my mind off of it

body only im guessing i got the kit 17-85mm since i dont own any lenses yet and it be my first walk around lense to start with.

As the US/CAN dollar was closed at about $1.04, I would be inclined to have a friend pick up in the States for a few hundred cheaper!

only issue i have with that too that ive asked here would be a warranty issue for $100. i think i prefer to drive out to canon i live like 20 min tops from them and get it serviced. unless the price was crazy cheap ill consider it.
