I enjoy the moodiness of the pictures.

I would try and correct some of the distortion caused by the wide angle lens in photoshop. The buliding doesn't seem square and the poles seem to converge towards the top of the image.

Good to see these light poles from this angle, Roger. I could never imagine that they are in this kind of historical environment. I'm working now with a crappy laptop but the colours in #2 please my eyes most. - Just wondering where are all the people? Is that plaza too big?

yay some comments...rstuntz I could have corrected the convergence but chose not to as I quite liked the fairly even lean in towards the central clock tower, thanks for looking and commenting though....willyb yep lol, everybody appreciates a comment.....Etienne, thanks a lot but it is quite easy after a little practice and I always can't wait to get home to download the results... Olli heh heh they almost look like robot guards, it was a lull in the crowd situation, about 30 min later the place was teeming as usual. Canonloader yes HDR here would have been great, I did some bracketed shots for this purpose but the traffic movements ruined any continuity.

Wow! Amazing colors. God knows I'd love to spend some time in Italy!!! Bikerider, I'm not really a jealous person, but I am kind of envious of you!

heh heh indeedy they do Gary and I have no sympathy for the bikeriders here, as they are shocking and deserve to get knocked over, the way they push through traffic and get abusive if they don't get their own way. I had a verbal exchange with one female scooter rider that left me quite annoyed . Also here they drive flat out in a straight line, then jump on the brakes to go around corners....bikes as well as cars do this, drives me nuts lol.
